The Lord is My Shepherd
By Matthew Kalliman
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd, what more could I want?
He leads me where still waters flow
I lie down beside them, my soul is restored
While resting where green pastures grow (twice)
CHORUS
His rod and staff will comfort me
I will not fear my enemy
And though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
The Lord will be with me!
The Lord is my shepherd, what more could I want?
In the presence of all of my foes
He makes me a table anointing my head
They see that my cup overflows
His goodness and mercy will surely be near
And follow me all of my days
And I’m going to dwell in the house of the Lord
Where I will remain always
CHORUS
The Lord is my shepherd, what more could I want?
He leads me where still waters flow
I lie down beside them, my soul is restored
While resting where green pastures grow
CHORUS (twice)
The Lord will be with me!
He leads me where still waters flow
I lie down beside them, my soul is restored
While resting where green pastures grow (twice)
CHORUS
His rod and staff will comfort me
I will not fear my enemy
And though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
The Lord will be with me!
The Lord is my shepherd, what more could I want?
In the presence of all of my foes
He makes me a table anointing my head
They see that my cup overflows
His goodness and mercy will surely be near
And follow me all of my days
And I’m going to dwell in the house of the Lord
Where I will remain always
CHORUS
The Lord is my shepherd, what more could I want?
He leads me where still waters flow
I lie down beside them, my soul is restored
While resting where green pastures grow
CHORUS (twice)
The Lord will be with me!
