"There is no God"
(That's What the Fool Says in His Heart)
By Matthew Kalliman
Psalm 14; Romans 3:10-12
"There is no God," that’s what the fool says in his heart
"There is no God," that’s what’s what the fool says in his heart
Oh, the Lord looked down from heaven on the children of the land
To see if there were any that did really understand!
"There is no God," that’s what the fool says in his heart
The world was awed when evolution made its mark
The professors in the colleges and teachers in the schools
Began to build a nation full of educated fools!
"There is no God," that’s what the fool says in his heart
It might seem odd, but now the fools thought they were smart
Though the most important knowledge was the knowledge that they
missed
You’ve got to be a fool to think that God does not exist!
Still the Lord looked down from heaven
On the children of the land
To see if there were any
That did really understand!
But there were none, He found that no one ever sought Him
No not one, He found His Word had been forgotten
And the land had been corrupted, no goodness anywhere
His people all were filthy and they didn’t even care!
"There is no God," that’s what the fool says in his heart
We’d best withdraw and from our foolishness depart
'Cause when evolution rules, it will permeate the schools
And the kids will turn to fools, growing up like stubborn mules
'Til the nation ridicules the Bible and its rules
And the Lord will have to save us when we’ve crumbled all apart!
"There is no God," that’s what the fool says in his heart
"There is no God," that’s what the fool says in his heart
But the Lord will look from heaven on the children of the land
To see if there are any that would like to understand!
"There is no God," that’s what’s what the fool says in his heart
Oh, the Lord looked down from heaven on the children of the land
To see if there were any that did really understand!
